Well, the trip to get Anna Jo is finally upon us. After nearly 2 years of waiting, we have received our referral for our littlest sister, Anna Jo Lin Hedrick. She is 9 months old, and now residing at the Dianbai Social Welfare Institute in Guangdong Province, China.
Anna Jo is from the same province that our current youngest daughter, Megan, is from, though Megan is from the town of Qingyuan. I'm happy that they will be able to share this common background.
Anna Jo is named for my sister, Heidi Jo, who passed away this last January. I miss her every day, and I know she is watching over Anna Jo for me. I like to think that she had a hand in choosing her for our family!
